Heard from the radio about 捉周. In case you all have no idea about it. It's a ceremony carried out when the baby turned one year old. Parents will put a lot of things(money, caculator, book, etc) inside a circle and let the baby chooses some items. The first one (or three? not sure) item chose by the baby is used to 'predict' the baby's future.

I long knew about this ceremony bcos when I was scanning through my cute(:p) baby's photos last time, I saw myself going through the ceremony from those precious photos. :D It's just a ceremony which parents shldn't take it too seriously. Just for fun.

I googled about it and quite a lot of parent blog about this actually. But mainly from china website. I think I will still make my baby to choose in the future. It will be fun! :D

This is copy n paste from another website:

I think this list is not fixed. I saw different version of lists from different websites. One website even has Coca-Cola for the baby to choose. Coca-Cola(可口可乐) symbolises 快乐(happiness).

Anyway, my mum told me I chose MONEY! Smart me. :)

Noticed from the list, most of the item symbolise some occupation. Money= Rich person leh! Rich person doesn't state what occupation leh...hmm... Does tt mean I can be rich even if I dun work? Maybe can be taitai in the future? hahaha~ Don't think I will be "rich" doing what I'm doing now. I nv chose 滑鼠(mouse) leh! haha~ Dun think my mum got put mouse. -_- Anyway, must be contented. 知足长乐。haha~ :)
