For some time I stopped watching the ANTM, Bachelor, Project Runaway etc... But now I started to watch Project Runaway again. So cool... There are new surprises for every espisodes. I started dreaming... What if I were a designer...

Think I will concentrate on designing dresses... haha~

Dental Appointment 1:06 PM

As I have to clear my company dental claim by the end of Sept, I decided to go Raffles Dental. Reason because it's nearer to my home. Though it's priced much steeper than other dental but since I've so short time left for my dental claim, I can use all the money for this single trip.

It has been a long time since I last went for Dental appointment. :X As told, it only lasts for around 30min. But it was the 'longest' 30min I have ever experienced, it was almost unbearable.

I had a short (~5 min) consultation session. Used the opportunity to tell the dentist that I have a chipped tooth but luckily he said it was just a small chip off, it's not necessary to fix it.

Then I had the 'long' Scaling & Polishing session to remove hard tartar on my teeth. The dentist had to use something (I could not see the tool he used at the lying position) to keep scraping off tartar from my teeth, then floss and finally polish my teeth. I can feel as if there are needles keep popping my gum during scaling. He oso had to force the floss in between my teeth.

I had to keep my mouth open for a long time throughout the session. The dental assistant had to use a tube to suck out my saliva so I dun have to keep spliting out my saliva in between the session. I dun remember having to open my mouth for so long in my past dental session during sec/pri school. I usually had time to rinse my mouth during interval. But this time, I dun even need to rinse or split because the assistant will suck out my saliva for me. It was really terrible to keep my mouth open for such a long time. :S

Only after Scaling and Polishing, I can have good rinse before Topical Fluoride which helped to strengthen my teeth. As I rinsed my mouth, I could see blood(from scaling n polishing) around my rinsing cup. For Topcial Fluoride, the dentist gave me a rubbery thing of the shape of teeth filled with Topical Fluoride. I have to bite it for 2min and after which I cannot rinse/drink for half an hour. The rubbery thing is a bit too big for me to bite on. And it tastes awful.

By right, I will have to go back every 6 mths time. And since it's paid by my company, I should fully utilised it. But now my teeth feel weird as if they are not mine anymore. haha~ And I scared of having to go through the rough scaling session again. Won't it damage my teeth having to scrape so hard? But if he didn't scrape as hard, it might not be able to remove the hard tartar...

Just like facial, need to go through extraction. Dental, need to go through scaling... For my own good, I should go. Only thing about facial is that I can distract myself by talking to the therapy. Dental, I cannot do anything... Anyone knows any handsome dentist who can help to divert my attention? haha~ :p

Day out 11:46 PM

I tried to avoid shopping so I won't spend too much. But sometime I will still unable to resist the temptation of buy some stuffs for myself. hehe~

Went shopping with June. And we were guilty for buying too many things! We've decided to strict to only 1 shopping trip tgt per month. haha~After that I went to meet my OLD sec fren for movie n dinner... :p Spent so much for meeting different grp of fren in a day! I've to stop going out so often for the rest of the month.

Wine Appreciation 12:38 AM

Went for Wine Appreciation class organised by my company. We paid a sum of money, part of it will go to CornerStone, the rest will go to President's Charity.

It's also the first time I visit the big MacPherson building! Started thinking about how nice it will be if our office is to be situated there. But on the 2nd thought, it will be even further for me to get there than my current office. hmm...

When we reached, the tables are already nicely arranged. We were given 5 wines to taste. 2 white, 2 red and 1 ice wine and some food. First time trying ice wine. hehe~

Before going there, I drank wines on wedding dinner (where I can drink for free... hehe~) and occasionally from some nice restaurant that I went. I will twist my tongue abit then half-swallow the wine down my throat. I love alcoholic drinks actually... Like the warm sensation but some are too bitter that I have to swallow them.

Learnt a lot about wine ytd. Like....

1) How the ladies (I was already holding it the correct way before class. Hehe~) and man should hold their glasses. I thought it's the same for both gender before the class... hehe~ Anyway, I still feel it's awkward for the guys to hold the way we were taught.

2) How wine is made.

3) Different type of grape used (those grow steeper up the slope are better grape etc.)

4) White wine can be made from red grapes.

5) What's ice wine...

6) Ice wine goes with dessert, red with red meat, white with white meat and seafood.

6) Most importantly... the steps to taste wine. hehe~

We were actually taught to "rinse" our mouth with wine before swallowing them in order to taste it properly. So all the wines I drank in the past had gone to waste since I was half-swallowing them down my throat without tasting them properly. Haha~

Given a pair of white and red wine each which allow us to compare which we prefer. White is more bland compared to red. Ice wine is too sweet for me. I dun fancy it tt much. In the past I usually order red wine, think in the future I shall order more white wine. :)

The food that go with the wine. hehe~ Nice! After the wine tasting, there are more dessert and nice chicken n spring roll served. I love the chicken... hehe~
