Job
4:49 PM All my fren are preparing for their new sem... Bidding for modules etc. *Envy envy* (I really do.) Now I have no more lectures, tutorials, projects, tests and exams... But I have more application forms to fill up , coverletters to write , more Sat Recruit to flip through, more rounds of job filtering, more research on interview companies and more interviews to prepare for ... -_- Diff stress.. haha~ Remember that time my jap tutor asked wat I want the most now(We will learning to use 'want' and 'desire')... I: I want a job. Tutor: What job? Think he's expecting me to say the kind(industry, specialize) of job. I: Interesting job Tutor: There are no interesting jobs. haha~ The good thing about fresh grad are in our dreamland(while we are still studying) b4 facing the reality(when started working). But... err... still hoping for exception when job = passion. Then I won't feel that I'm actually 'working' everyday. I: hmm... IT-related job(?) haha~ I gave him the ans he wants. Even if I might not like my job(*touch wood*) but a lot of things that a job can give. I will feel occupied everyday instead of wasting my youth away doing nothing. Hopefully gain a sense of satisfaction in the things I do. Since I cannot stop the time, I should be looking forward to wat my future career can bring. :D Wednesday, January 2, 2008
Detox Seven Days
5:14 PM Happy New Year, Everyone! :D It's 2008 le! Soon I will be 1 year wiser Since I'm at home... Thanks to the technologies, I can search for jobs online. I'm busy, ok! haha~ I was thinking maybe I can start my detox session. Heard about detox on magazine and tv but it's hard to fulfil when u are outside working/schooling. People will tell u to not to go on diet or wat. Or there are simply too much temptation to eat! I love to eat too much! It will be easier to 'force' me eat steamboat everyday then to eat veggie everyday. haha~ The purpose of detox is not to lose weight! It's to let ur digestive system to rest for a while and to get rid unwanted substances in your body and make you feel healthier. After the session u won't feel tired easily, you will have energy to go more at work, and you won't be feeling bloated if u do now. <-- These are some of the benefits I found according to websites. ;) I have been surfing online for detox session tt ideally will last a week for me. It's a challenge for me! I'm too bored. Need some things to challenge myself. haha~ I found this more complete plan tt might be useful for u all if interested. :) Check it out! --> http://www.acne-advice.com/articles/diet/detoxing/seven_day_detox.shtml From the length of the diet plan, I doubt will feel hungry at all. haha~ Dun worry about not having any meat to get the protein required. Nuts can be a good subsitute for the week. The plan is from an 'acne advice' website. I dun have acne problem but this is the best I can find. Anyway, I think for people who are not suffering acne problem, we can still try those recipes mentioned. It's gd for skins. But anyone has other recipes or advices to share? :p Anyone tried detoxing before? Do leave me a msg ya? :D Hope all new year resolutions will come true. Jiayou, everyone! :D |
